ILES DES SAINTES
We left Guadeloupe Tuesday May 14th, sailing south to Des Saintes, a charming group of French islands. It was a short stop this time, still enjoyable in the picturesque surrounding.
Some years back fishing was the major source of living. Now it is tourism. Bourg has a number of restaurants and shops, or you can rent a scooter, already bend on some other islands.
